Sunday Sketch with Carol Buswell

Learn how to use gesture drawing to establish the energy and composition of a drawing with artist Carol Buswell. Work from bronze sculptures from current exhibition Thrill of the ‘Chace: Steeplechase in Art to mimic drawing from life and draw a master copy of Frederic Sackrider Remington’s Steeplechase at Cedarhurst  as a sustained gesture. 

Recommended Materials
•    Vine charcoal
•    charcoal sharpener 
•    sandpaper pointer pad
•    Charcoal paper or Rives BFK paper 
•    kneaded eraser 
•    Hake or mop brush
