Sunday Sketch with Kim Richards

 Value is the support beam of a painting and is an important thing to consider in any drawing or painting. Artist Kim Richards will show participants how to make their own value finder and how to use it to enhance their drawings. Participants will start in Tucker Smith: A Celebration of Nature to explore the ways that Tucker Smith used the concept of value to emphasize  his design and focal point and end in Field Notes: Walter Matia. Using the indoor sculptural work of Matia, participants will use their value finders to focus on fluctuations in value.
