Sporting Conversations with Dr. Carolee Klimchock

Dr. Carolee Klimchock presents on the theatrics of coach driving in the Gilded Age. Her Fellowship research on this topic led to a dissertation titled "Heiress Weds Coachman: Elopement Scandals and the Performance of Coach Driving in the Gilded Age". Sporting Conversations connects the public with new discoveries and research by the John H. Daniels Fellows. This series features current and former Fellows as they share their expertise, research, and experiences studying the unique collections, resources and rare books found at the NSLM.
