Paul Mellon's Art Legacy, July 12

Few individuals have raised the profile of sporting art as significantly as Paul Mellon. He and his wife Bunny Mellon shaped the Virginia countryside and the cultural landscape of the nation through their collections and philanthropy. On July 12, Jeffrey Allison, the Paul Mellon Collection Educator and Statewide Manager at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, will speak at NSLM about the Mellon’s lives, lifetime of collecting, and the works on view in A Sporting Vision: The Paul Mellon Collection of British Sporting Art from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
