Volunteer Ambassador Program and Education & Outreach Volunteers
Join the NSLM Volunteer Program and contribute to the success of the NSLM's mission! Connect with art and sporting enthusiasts, and fellow bibliophiles; share your knowledge; and become a part of your community. There are many ways to get involved and volunteer at the National Sporting Library & Museum, both at the Museum and Library, behind the scenes, in education, or out in the community.
If you enjoy our Museum, Library, or our institutional mission, come be a part of our organization!
NSLM Ambassador Program
The NSLM Ambassador Program is a volunteer group of motivated and passionate members who act as a conduit between the Library, Museum, programs, exhibitions, and collections to the larger community. Ambassadors are trained members of NSLM who are equipped to share their knowledge of NSLM and help cultivate a broader audience and an active Library and Museum culture. Ambassadors play an essential part in fulfilling NSLM’s mission through three key areas of interest: Development, Education, and Special Events.
Education & Outreach Volunteers
Education & Outreach volunteers are an essential and valued part of the NSLM providing support to our educational programs and outreach initiatives. As an Education & Outreach volunteer you will not only have the opportunity to see how a special collections library and fine art museum creates a remarkable experience for visitors, but you will also play a special role by helping visitors discover something new each time they come to an NSLM program or outreach event.
Education & Outreach Volunteer positions are varied and flexible. All Education & Outreach Volunteers must be over 16 years old.
All volunteer opportunities are available :
- in the Library
- in the Museum
- with special events, such as Open Late, Polo, and many others!
- with educational programs, such as Sunday Sketch, lectures, and others!
