Tales of the Wildlife Center of Virginia

Take a walk on the wild side and join the NSLM as we learn more about Virginia’s native wildlife with the Wildlife Center of Virginia. In the last 40 years, the Center has helped nearly 90,000 wild animals from every corner of Virginia, including black bears, rabbits, turtles, opossums, raptors, and more!  Learn about their work providing healthcare to native wildlife and along the way, meet several of their Ambassador Animals. Discover how these creatures came to the Center and what their stories, along with the stories of the thousands of patients that the Center treats each year, tell us about the steps that each of us can take to protect wildlife and the environment.

This is a free event, however spaces are limited. Sign up here.

This will be an socially-distanced, outdoor event. Further Covid-19 safety precautions will be assessed closer to the event.
