Megan Lark Caldwell is back by popular demand on June 23–24 (2-day workshop). Unleash your inner artist in this hands-on landscape oil painting workshop led by artist Megan Lark Caldwell. Whether you're completely new to oil paints or just looking to brush up on the basics, this fun and inspiring workshop will guide you through every step of creating your own oil painting. You’ll learn how to prepare a canvas, explore foundational oil painting techniques, and play with expressive color combinations. By the end of the workshop, you’ll not only walk away with a finished painting, but also the skills and confidence to keep creating on your own.

All materials are provided, so bring your creativity! (You're welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer.) Megan Lark Caldwell of Sweetrock Studios (Bluemont, Virginia) has been teaching oil painting for more than 20 years. Inspired by her surroundings, she paints landscapes, human, and animal portraits.
